Comments from the Argonide Web Designer |

Hello, My name is Cindi Knispel. I am the Argonide E-Commerce Manager
and company website designer. I spend a great amount of time publishing new product information to introduce the NanoCeram®
line of filters to consumers. Each day, I find that I am bombarded by filter manufacturers all claiming to have the best filter and the perfect solution to
water purification. After a few minutes, I became totally confused and all the products seemed to be the same. Who do I believe? I now understand how
difficult it may be to choose the correct filter for my home. My husband and I offered to test NanoCeram
® to see for ourselves how
the filter product performed. Although we have city water, our water quality is poor. Before installing the new system, our tap water was yellow,
had a bad odor with a metallic taste. Even after regular changes, the filtered water produced by our refrigerator had a nasty metallic
taste and odor. We contracted a plumber to install our whole house filter system which ran about $300. He installed three housings. An inexpensive 5
micron filter, the Nanoceram®
filter and a carbon block filter. All were 4.5 x 10.in size. I sampled our tap water minutes after installation, and although totally clear, the water had
a taste and odor from the pvc glue the plumber
used to seal my system. The next morning our tap water was totally clear and had no metallic taste what so ever.
For the first time, our ice and ice water was a pleasure to drink. My coffee is better and my
laundry isn't yellow anymore. Now I am really excited about NanoCeram.
I found out that my husband brought a glass of water to our next door
neighbor to see the difference between their water and ours. Our neighbor was so surprised. I now feel confident that there is truth in the words that I
publish to our website. Thanks for reading my comments. |

BioVir performed both
an Initial Precision and Recovery (IPR) test and a side-by-side comparison of the Argonide filter with the
Cuno 1MDS filter. We found that the Argonide filter performed as well as the 1MDS filter in capturing
viruses from a water matrix. We believe that the Argonide virus concentrating filter is an excellent, cost
effective alternative to the 1MDS filter." - Craig Johnson, President, BioVir Laboratories, Inc.

Dear Argonide;
I have been experimenting with your filters for over 6 months and with
the results I was looking for. The product removes the sub micron carbon
particles that clouded my product. It was also possible to remove most
and maybe all of the bacteria. I have tried many types of filters and
they either do not do the job or plug up very quickly. The Argonide
filter has not plugged up in spite of having 100's of gals of products
run through it. I have not found anything better for removing
contamination from my products. I will be ordering more right away.
Sincerely;
Dr. Robert H. Faust Ph.D.

Several years ago I bought a three cartridge under the counter system which consisted of 1) a Doulton ceramic
cartridge which the vendor I buy from had filled with KDF media, 2) an Alumina cartridge, and 3) a Prime Water Sterotap cartridge, which can
filter to .15 micron with something like 9 log efficiency. Within a few weeks, however, the water was coming out only at a trickle. The vendor
advised me to scrub the exterior of the Doulton cartridge which had a reddish color deposit on it. I did and the flow increased slightly, not
much. Within a short time scrubbing the outside of this cartridge did not help.
This went on for over a year, the Doulton and the Prime Water cartridges both became unusable too quickly. The vendor was somewhat puzzled; he told me that he sold similar systems to people in India and they usually went
six months before the flow diminished to a trickle. He said that unless I had the worst water in the world I shouldn't be having the problems I
was having. A few days later he called back and apologized--he had talked with a local Doulton dealer and yes, I did have the worst water in the
world. New York City's water comes from mountain reservoirs nearly one hundred miles away. Many of the mains it goes through are old and
deteriorating and give off a lot of what are called nuisance particles. |

I began using a polypleat cartridge as a sediment pre-filter. Even with a one micron polypleat I still had to scrub off the
exterior of the Doulton ceramic from a tan color residue, and even scrubbing it off every few weeks, it eventually became blocked up below the ceramic
surface. Eventually I stopped using this type of cartridge. The polypleats had a noticeable dropoff within a few weeks of installation.
Last year I purchased an Argonide nano-ceram to use as a sediment filter. It seems to work very well. The first
thing I noticed was that the Sterotap cartridge was not clogging so quickly, instead of the two months I had been getting it was lasting the six
months its supposed to. Before installing the nanoceram I had been putting a .5 micron carbon block in front of the Sterotap, hoping to extend
its life, yet the carbon block hadn't done that much good. So it seems like there might be very fine particles in the water the carbon block was
not catching which the nanoceram does. After a few months I tried a Doulton ceramic filled with KDF again, placing it second in line, right
after the nanoceram, and was surprised that even after several months its exterior stayed white. Norman Feldman |
