NanoCeram-PAC
Certified to NSF/ANSI Std. 53
April 28, 2008 – Argonide Corporation, a Sanford, Florida company that
manufactures ultra-high efficiency water purification
filters, has recently announced the certification to Std 53
of its NanoCeram-PAC electropositive water filter
cartridges. The Water Quality Association (WQA) has now
completed their detailed laboratory testing and has
certified this line of five (5) filter sizes to NSF/ANSI
Standard 53 for Material Safety. In addition, the WQA (Water
Quality Association) has determined through additional
laboratory testing to this same Standard, that the entire
line of NanoCeram-PAC filter cartridges meet or exceed the
stated 99.95% Reduction of Cysts.
According to company president Fred Tepper, “NanoCeram-PAC
may be the highest-flowing and lowest pressure drop carbon
filter on the market today, which can also claim Cyst
reduction”.
The NanoCeram-PAC line is an extension of Argonide’s
original electropositive water filter cartridges, with the
addition of highly active powder activated carbon (PAC).
Future testing for certification purposes includes VOC,
Chlorine and Particulate Reduction.
